Tony Condra

Tony Condra is the Recruiting Coach for the St. Louis Surge Women’s Basketball Team. Condra has been a part of the St. Louis Surge for two years and brings a strong recruiting foundation to the Surge organization. Highly efficient, reliable professional with extensive experience in the basketball field. Condra is a versatile team-oriented worker who possesses a broad range of skills in the areas of leadership, communication and basketball knowledge. Condra understands the concepts and knowledge for ensuring players receive productive and skillful basketball training. Leading team skills and drills practices, Condra teaches Surge players the basic fundamentals of basketball while breaking down offense and defense.

With successful development and training techniques, Condra has worked with some of the top players in Missouri and top skill developers in the country such as Nadine Domond, Founder and Director of ND Basketball Services, and Drew Hanlen, Nike Skill Developer. Condra was also a key contributor in the Adidas elite 100 Combine and the Adidas All-American Camp

Condra is currently the Assistant Director of Team Adidas , a high school girls basketball program, and owner of True Game Development. As Assistant Director of Team Adidas, Condra oversees 11 teams in the program, as well as provides scouting and recruiting opportunities for players. True Game Development provides aspiring basketball athletes with one-on-one development opportunities that works to improves players’ games both mentally and physically. Condra and True Game Development also hosts major clinics for male and female athletes.

Prior to the becoming a member of the St. Louis Surge organization, Condra served as head coach of St. Louis Hoops Girls Basketball for five years, where he led the team to a fifth place finish in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Nationals competition in Clarksville, Tennessee in 2000, as well as a fourth place finish in the AAU Division II Nationals competition in Nashville, Tennessee in 2004. Condra was also the Assistant Head Coach at Metro High School, where he was responsible for conducting drills during all practices. Condra also led the team to a Missouri State Championship in 2005-2006, as well as a fourth place finish in the state competition in 2007.

Condra received his bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia College.
