After winning the Mid-West Division title of the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL) last weekend, the St. Louis Surge concludes its home campaign this Saturday with an exhibition warm-up prior to its national tournament trek.

St. Louis, the WBCBL defending champs, hosts the Flint (MI) Monarchs at 7:05 p.m. at UMSL’s Mark Twain Building (1 University Blvd.)

Khalia Collier, St. Louis Surge Owner and General Manager was recently awarded the prestigious award of 30 Under 30 by the St. Louis Business Journal. Collier along with 29 additional young professional who are on their way to being the region’s next generation of movers and shakers. Collier was featured in the July 10, 2015 issues of the St. Louis Business Journal and was honored July 16 at a cocktail reception at the Caramel Room at Bissingers.
