WBCBL
Mission
The Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League’s (WBCBL) mission is to provide highly competitive basketball for women age 20 and older, while creating opportunities for educational advancement in local communities.
About the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League
The competition level ranges from former college players to former National Women’s Basketball League and Women’s National Basketball Association and current international players. In addition, the WBCBL has built a networking relationship with professional international basketball scouts and agents to broaden the possibility of higher-level professional jobs being offered. The WBCBL acts as a primary Farm/Recruiting league for the Woman’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
Interested Players
Participation in the WBCBL will allow your talents and skills to be evaluated by professional basketball scouts and agents. The WBCBL has a network of agents with a proven track record of job placement for dozens of athletes who are currently playing professional basketball. However, there is no guarantee that you will be signed to a professional contract. As a WBCBL player in 2010, your chances of going Pro were about 1 in 40. In the event that you are offered a professional contract, make sure that you have all of your bases covered. There are numerous basketball scams and phony basketball camps that can make a genuine opportunity hard to recognize. Do your research on the offering team and the geographical location of that team.
