On behalf of the St. Louis Surge Semi-Professional Basketball Team, the Surge would like to extend an invitation to you and your company to become a team sponsor for the St. Louis Surge. The St. Louis Surge is an affiliate of the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL), which is a semi-professional woman’s league that consists of 60 member teams from major cities across the United States.

The mission of the St. Louis Surge Women’s Semi-Professional Basketball Team is to be role models and mentors in the St. Louis community while fostering a team of sportsmanship, teamwork and excellence. The focus of the program is to promote sport participation and provide players the opportunity to meet with recruiters and scouts from various colleges, universities, and professional teams in different countries.

There are several benefits to sponsor our team’s activities:

Be involved in the only women’s semi professional team in St. Louis, MO. The number of young women in the St. Louis City/County, St. Charles, East St. Louis, and surroundings area that are involved in basketball post secondary education is very high and is steadily increasing. The general excitement of basketball in St. Louis can only increase due to the fact St. Louis loves great basketball as seen through high school and college.

Position your organization with an attractive demographic. The majority of our players are former college players or players from accredited high schools. This brings loyal fans that watched players compete before joining the Surge; in doing this our fan base ranges from all ages.
