Your St. Louis Surge are the winners of the 2014 Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL) National Championship, which was played on Sunday, August 3, 2014. The Surge beat Auburn 81 - 69. On Saturday, August 2, 2014, the Surge defeated Fayetteville, 89-54, in the quarterfinals and Dade County, 83-80, in the semifinals to reach the championship game.
The St. Louis Surge finished the 2014 season with a 14-1 record and also took home the 2014 Mid-West Regional Championship.
