The undefeated St. Louis Surge Woman’s Semi-Professional Basketball Team will host the 2013 Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL) National Tournament on Saturday, August 3, 2013, and Sunday, August 4, 2013. The National Tournament will be held at the University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL) Mark Twain Center located at One University Blvd., St. Louis, Mo 63121.
The tournament will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 3, and will consist of eight teams who will be vying for the 2013 WBCBL National Championship title. Doors will open at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, August 3. Tickets for the tournament can be purchased at the door: Adults - $10 for a day pass (Saturday, August 4) or $12 for a weekend pass; Kids - $5 weekend pass and children under age five are free. Tickets can also be purchased on Eventbrite. The 2013 National Championship is the first women’s national tournament to be held in St. Louis.
