A native of St. Louis, Dr. Furman received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2013 from Logan College of Chiropractic. He attended undergrad at the University of St. Louis, MO, majoring in biology with an emphasis on Kinesiology and Human Performance. Upon graduation at Logan, Dr. Furman was given the following awards: the “Award of Excellence” from the Postdoctoral and Related Professional Education, the “Diversified Technique Award” from the Chiropractic Science Division, and the “Health Center Achievement Award” in recognition of exemplary clinical performance and academic excellence.
Dr. Furman has also completed certifications in Acupuncture, Auriculotherapy, Graston Technique, MOTUS Sports Taping, and Posture Rehab. He is currently finishing the Master’s Degree program in Sports Science and Sports Rehabilitation at Logan University, and incorporates the latest advances with patients daily. Dr. Furman is the official chiropractor for The Boxing Gym in the Central West End, has worked with the Bartender’s Brawl, and the Gateway Classic Football Game.
Dr. Furman enjoys helping athletes who want to compete at the top of their game by providing the best care possible, all while educating each athlete about health and prevention. His philosophy is to treat the whole person in order to achieve optimal performance.
